You have been sent to this page to explain the current situation regarding your scammer report.
Megu or the MOD will tell you which of the below applies to your current situation.
1. Possibly Sent from DJ Megu Server
This has been investigated by Megu or the MOD team and found that, The user was not marked as a Scammer and had passed the rules acceptance page.
We have now marked them as a Scammer and they can no longer see any other real users on this server. All users that are not scammers are now protected.

2. Not Sent From DJ Megu Server.
This has been investigated by Megu or the MOD team and found that, from the point of your DM, we already had this account marked as a scammer on the server.
This means that due to the lockdown in effect on the server, you have not been contacted through DJ Megu’s server and have in fact been DM’d from one of the other servers you have mutual with that scammer.
Thanks for the report and we appreciate the concern, but we keep you safe from scammers on the DJ Megu Discord actively.
If DJ Megu is currently the only mutual server, then it is still impossible for the scammer to see you. As per the screenshot at top, the scammer will only see one channel, and only scammers, MODS and Megu can see this channel.
The likely cause of this is that you received a DM from the scammer because they found you on another server. Before you had a chance to check the DM, they were removed from the server that they found you on.
Server 1 > Scammer found the user and sent DM
Megu Server > Marked as scammer for months
Scammer > Sends DM to user
Server 1 > Kicked and banned scammer
User > Views message from scammer minutes or hours later
As they are marked as a scammer here already, the user was not DM’d from this server because the scammer cannot see them.
Take Action
You did the right thing in telling us, as some people get hacked and we need people to tell us this so we can make that scammer role change.
Next step: block and report. Kicking and banning is needed to protect more people from being contacted, and we have our own way to manage this.
Reporting and blocking flags the account as suspicious to Discord, which they review in future to ban accounts. Reporting also helps other servers be aware of suspicious activity.
